About Survivor In Rainbow Monster game
Survivor in Rainbow Monster is a survival-based arcade game. The player enters the game as a child who has been kidnapped by a monster from a school trip to an amusement park. The player’s goal is to survive five nights trapped in the park.
The game’s brilliant and detailed characters and addictive gameplay meant it wasn’t long before Survivor in Rainbow Monster saw great success. It’s available on the Google Play store in over 100 countries and has been downloaded over 10 million times. It was also #1 in the U.S. store for several weeks. With over 60,000 reviews, it had an average rating of 4 stars.
The Challenge
Dmobin approached PubScale because they were looking to improve their Average Revenue Per Daily Active User (ARPDAU) metrics. They were also looking for additional revenue streams for 2024.
The company was already working with a in-game ad monetization partner that was buying media from only one geography. This left them with a low fill rate, which meant that only a small percentage of ad requests were being fulfilled.
As a result, the popular app wasn’t getting the revenue it deserved.
The Solution: PubScale Immersive Ads SDK
After looking into the situation in detail, PubScale identified the primary issue and worked to resolve it. In January 2024, Immersive Ads were integrated into the game. This meant the ads were seamlessly placed to capture attention and deliver more memorable experiences to the gamers. The ads do not interfere with gameplay.
PubScale’s immersive ads’ software development kit (SDK) was seamlessly integrated within a few hours.
The result: An 18% increase in overall revenue. The top-performing geographies were the U.S.,Mexico, Brazil, France, and Korea.
What’s more? The publisher received no complaints of users dropping due to the ad experience or after facing any crashes or an “Application Not Responding” (ANR).
